Kalpavriksh, ASHA school for the disabled

Holi asha teachers     The Temple Flower Project being coordinated by Kalpavriksh was inspired by the work being done by Madhumita Puri of the Society for Child Development , Delhi.

The project involves the use of waste flowers being thrown away by hotels and temples to make natural colour powders.

Holi asha children   In Pune, this work is being done along with the ASHA school for disabled children. Flowers from neighbouring hotels and temples are collected by the school on a regular basis.
