Ecosensitive accessories for Sri Ganesh
Everyone loves to decorate their Ganesh idols with beautifully! However, the use of thermocole and plastic in temples as well as for garlands and other decorations increases non biodegradable wastes. eCoexist takes this opportunity to introduce some exquisite temples, garlands and shawls made especially for Ganesh Chaturthi.
These cloth items have been made using left over fabrics and provide an ecosensitive livelihood to women living in Punes slums. Along with the NGO Swadhaar, eCoexist conducted a training on how to make these accessories which was led by our talented fabric expert, Abida Khan.
They are available in a kit which includes one temple with either one shawl or one garland.
